About Our Fitness Trainers
Every member of our team has years of experience in fitness training, coaching, and mentoring women who want to be in the best shape of their lives. Our trainers are also certified in a variety of fitness disciplines and are interested in making a difference for every member of our health club. Here you will the bios and the fitness training backgrounds of our instructors. As their bios show, everyone on our team is personally interested in the success of the women who come to work out with us!

Though her roots were grounded in the Midwest, Susan pursued her interest in fashion design and courageously ventured to the Big Apple to attend FIT and follow her dreams. At the same time, Susan held a successful management position at Banana Republic / GAP, Inc. while also studying full time. After leaving the retail world, Susan then planted her roots in West Orange, NJ to start a family.
Following her true passion, Susan became a valued member of the Spa Lady team in West Orange, NJ, excelling as a personal fitness trainer there. Susan's talent and drive quickly singled her out as a leader and she quickly rose to the top at Spa Lady.
Susan harbored an overwhelming urge to fulfill a lifelong dream of owning a gym of her own. In the fall of 2007 an opportunity arose for her to take over ownership of the West Orange fitness center facility. She rose to the challenge, and with a great deal of hard work and determination she purchased the fitness center and then moved it into a brand new state-of-the-art health club in South Orange, NJ.
Since then, Susan has become an important pillar of the South Orange small business community, and especially one that caters to the wellness of women. As the proprietor of Spa Lady, Susan hopes that her passion for health and fitness will inspire other women in the community and her fitness club members. She hopes to be a role model for her two daughters as well.

Alexandra has been with Spa Lady for five years. She graduated from Montclair State University in 2009 with a degree in Psychology after having built up significant hands-on experience in the fitness industry. Alexandra holds multiple personal fitness training certifications in addition to her degree.
Alexandra understands the challenges facing women who try to find balance in the lives. She takes pride in being able to help women find their balance both mentally and physically through her fitness training expertise at Spa Lady.

Ken has been with Spa Lady for several years. He is a National Academy of Sports Medicine personal trainer with many years of experience in the fitness industry. He holds multiple personal fitness training certifications by NASM and NEDEITA for training women athletes, youth, and seniors. Ken is also certified to provide guidance on nutrition for men, women, teens and elderly, including those diagnosed with diabetes, hypertension and/or lower back pain.
Ken also has CPR certification from the American Red Cross, and he carries additional liability insurance over the coverage afforded by Spa Lady's own policy.
Ken understands the special needs of women who are looking to improve their fitness through regular exercise programs combined with specific goal oriented diets. He is proud to be a key provider of fitness training expertise and nutritional counseling at Spa Lady.

Sabrina joined Spa Lady in 2009. She has focused her
entire career in the Health and Fitness field. She has been involved in
sports since childhood, with the most athletic success in the field of
gymnastics. Later on when she came to the United States, she decided to
continue her education as a Physical Education Teacher and Personal Trainer.
She currently holds multiple Personal Fitness Training Certifications and
teaches her clients the significance of being healthy by staying fit and
motivated daily.
Sabrina understands that health and fitness play a very
important role in a person’s life. Her training philosophy recognizes that
the key to having a great lifestyle is an intimate understanding of the
connection between health and body. She enjoys using this training
paradigm to help others achieve their personal fitness goals and to inspire
positive mind-behavior changes which lead to success in all areas of their
lives.

Bryan first joined the fitness industry as a member of the Team BeachBody coaching system helping individuals reach their fitness goals online and in person. He began holding local group workouts where people could exercise and learn the importance of nutritional supplements in their diets.
In early 2010 Bryan joined Spa Lady as a group instructor and progressed to a certified personal trainer. He still leads classes but now focuses on individual training for weight loss and overall health. Bryan focuses his clientele on a regimen of both resistance training and cardio as a way to jumpstart their metabolism and burn fat. With other areas such as flexibility, core stabilization, balance, and focus intertwined, he strives to make everyone reach their personal goals of a healthier self.
